What is a website?
A website is a collection of information, images, animations etc stored in different web pages which are interlinked. These web pages are stored in a computer (web server) which is connected to the internet. Any no: of person's with internet connected computers can view these web pages using a software application (Internet Browser) simultaneously.

What is a URL?
URL stands for Universal Resource Locator. URL is similar to postal addresses; they are the addresses which we type in the address bar of the Internet Browser.
For example, you would type in http://www.ibusweb.com to access our website.

What is a domain name?
A domain name is what comes after http://www. in the URL. In the above example ibusweb.com is the domain name. Where ibusweb is what you could decide, but the .com is the top-level domain name which you can only select.

TLD's are sub divided into
generic top-level domain (gTLD)
The core group of generic top-level domains consists of
.com / .info / .net / .org / .biz / .name / .pro
country code top-level domain (ccTLD)
Generally used or reserved for a country. All ccTLD identifiers are two letters long.

Does Ibus provide Domain registration services?
Ibus is not a domain registrant, but on behalf of you we can register through other domain registrants and upon completion of the website, the domain will be transferred to your name.

How much does a web site cost?
A website development cost depends on many factors like no: of pages, the graphic work needed, the web applications needed etc.. To make it easier we have just clubbed the basic things needed to form a business starter plan which comes at a price of INR 5000.

How long does it take to design a web site?
Business starter website will be designed within 2 weeks upon receiving the contents and your business related images which need to be included in the website.

You will need an internet connected computer which will keep your website and will provide that information anytime to anyone who reaches it by typing your domain name.
